Racing underway - two hours late

Manannan's cloak delays TT action

Racing is finally underway on the Mountain course – after a two hour delay this morning.

Riders and organisers had planned the get today’s programme underway at 10.45am but visibility problems with fog and mist meant the start time had to be put back three times.

The Monster Energy Supersport Race 2 eventually got underway at 12.45pm.

Clerk of the Course Gary Thomson explained problems had been in the air as well as on the ground:
