Sidecar action after 3 hours of delays

Racing is at last underway on the final of TT 2016  - more than three hours behind schedule.

Mist and fog has been slow to clear from parts of the mountain course, meaning the medical helicopter has been unable to fly.

The 3 lap Sure Sidecar Race 2 eventually started at 1.30pm.

This will be followed by the six lap Pokerstars Senior TT at 3.30pm.

The Mark Higgins Subaru timed lap, which was originally scheduled to take place between the two events, is now at the end of the day with a start time of around 5.30pm.

Roads should open from ten past six except for the Mountain section, with all roads open by 7.10pm.
