Rider killed in Senior TT

Andrew Soar from Loughborough was 32

Race organisers have confirmed a 32-year-old competitor died in the Senior TT race earlier.

Andrew Soar from Loughborough in Leicestershire was killed following an incident at Keppel Gate.

He made his debut at the 2012 Manx Grand Prix and went on to win the Senior MGP two years later - making his first appearance at the TT last year.

ACU Events Ltd has passed on their deepest sympathy to Andrew's family and friends.
