Victoria Ward vacancy

A vacancy has arisen for a seat on the Council to represent Victoria ward in the Borough of Douglas following the resignation of Kevin Oliphant-Smith for personal reasons.

The successful candidate will join Councillor Raina Chatel and Councillor David Ashford in representing the ward.

In accordance with the Local Elections Act 1986 should more than one nomination be received, a bye-election will be held on Thursday July 14 2016.

Nomination forms can be obtained from Douglas Town Hall or downloaded from www.douglas.gov.im. Closing date Wednesday June 22, 2016
