Accused due in court for commital

Three people from Peel accused of removing £46,000 of criminal property from the Isle of Man are due to appear in court today (14 June).

It’s expected the case of 51-year-old Beverley Taylor, 24-year-old Jamie Griffin and Meghan Griffin aged 20, will be committed to a Court of General Gaol Delivery.

The trio are alleged to have transferred the money into a number of bank accounts held in the Liverpool area between February 2014 and February this year - believed to be the proceeds of crime.
