Witnesses needed to race week disturbances

Police are hunting a couple who broke into a building in Douglas and then got into an altercation 20 minutes later.

The incidents happened on Tuesday 7 June when the pair entered a property in Demesne Road at 6.50pm

They were confronted by a woman who lived there and left – but not before heaping verbal abuse on her and damaging the front door.

They then left in a red car and were involved in a disturbance at 7.10pm on Broadway at its junction with Princes Avenue.

If you have any information on either incident, you can contact police on 631212 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
