Police appeal for witnesses to incidents

Police are currently investigating an incident which took place in the area of 19 Demesne Road at approximately 6.50 pm on Tuesday 7th June 2016. A male is believed to have gained unauthorised access to the building before being asked to leave by a resident. The resident has followed the male outside and upon doing so has been verbally abused by a female associate of the male. This female is also believed to have caused damage to the front communal door to the property. The pair made off in a red coloured vehicle.

Following this, at around 7.10 pm on the same date in the area of Broadway, at its junction with Princes Avenue, a further disturbance has taken place involving the same vehicle.

Police are appealing for anyone who has witnessed either incident or has any other information to contact DC 262 Gascoyne at CID, Douglas Police Headquarters or alternatively the Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
