David Christian hopes for better in 2017

The leader of the Island’s largest local authority says he hopes the government will look again at its TT entertainment plans – after free events on Douglas Promenade were scrapped this year.

Councillor David Christian says he’s been contacted by people complaining about the lack of festival atmosphere on the prom after the Department of Economic Development said it had no money to provide stunt shows this year.
