Falk Horning wins Douglas by-election

Turnout just 15.78%

Falk Horning has been elected to serve as councillor for Murray's ward in Douglas.

Mr Horning polled 226 votes in yesterday's (Thur) by-election.

Derek Lavery received 140 votes.

Keith Teare - whose name appeared on the ballot paper, although he had withdrawn from the election - received three votes.

The turnout was 15.78% and there was one spoilt paper.

Mr Horning will now serve as a Douglas councillor until April 2020
