TT racers' inquests open on Monday

Died during sidercar and Senior incidents

The inquests into the deaths of two competitors during this year’s TT will open on Monday.

Coroner of Inquests John Needham will open a hearing into the death of sidecar driver Ian Bell at 3pm.

Mr Bell, aged 58 and from Bedlington in Northumberland died in an incident at Ballaspur during Sidecar Race 2.

At 3.15pm, Mr Needham will open the inquest into the death of Andrew Soar.

32 year old Mr Soar, from Loughborough, died in a crash at Keppel Gate on lap five of the Senior TT.
