by isleofman.com 18th June 2016

Fast pace set in warm weather

Pre-race favourite Richard Gerrard is showing clean pair of heels to other competitors in the Parish Walk.

He's set a fast pace to establish an early lead of over ten minutes as they went through Colby . with the top thirteen spread out over twenty minutes.

First woman was Janette Morgan who was in fifth overall

Dave Chrisitian says Gerrard is looking on good form - and the good weather has encouraged plenty of people to go out and watch the walkers go through . .

As they went up the Sloc, Richard Gerrard was 14 mins in front of second place man Brian Kelly.
