Four-midable Gerrard does it again!

For the fourth time in just five years, Richard Gerrard has won the Manx Telecom Parish Walk.

Despite being feeling unwell for long spells of Saturday’s event, he was a dominant figure – completing the 85 mile route in a time of 15 hours, 31 minutes, 43 seconds.

That was just under 25 minutes ahead of second placed David Walker (15.56.10).

Karen Chiarello finished third overall in an impressive time of 16 hours and three seconds, the second quickest time ever recorded by a woman at the event.

Liam Parker was in fourth place in a time of 16.16.13.

This was the moment Richard Gerrard crossed the finishing line.
