Beach Buddies at Brewery Bay

by isleofman.com 19th June 2016

Proper name used for well-known area

Beach Buddies will be back in action again today (Sun) following a break over TT.

They're meeting at Brewery Bay opposite the Shore Hotel.

The area is better known to many as "Gansey Bay" - but Beach Buddies founder Bill Dale says a regular supporter of the charity, who's also a lifeboat crew member, is keen to see the area's proper name used - and the group is happy to oblige.

The session gets underway at 10.30am and as usual the Buddies will provide all the equipment and recycle the rubbish where possible.

All are welcome - including children and well-behaved dogs.

The session will last around an hour and a half.
