Ministers to give evidence at Committee

The Social Affairs Policy Review Committee, a Standing Committee of Tynwald, will be taking oral evidence on Monday 27th June 2016 from the persons listed below at the times stated.

10.30am Hon Howard Quayle MHK (Minister for Health and Social Care) with Dr Malcolm Couch (Chief Executive)

11.45am Hon Juan Watterson MHK (Minister for Home Affairs) with Mr Simon Jackson (Director of Finance and Corporate Projects) and Julian Lalor-Smith (Director of Administration and Legislation)

The session will be held in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas. The evidence will be taken in public. Members of the public are welcome to attend, and the proceedings will also be streamed live via the Tynwald website.

The two Ministers and their officers will be asked questions on a range of topics within their Departmental responsibilities.

The Social Affairs Policy Review Committee, comprising Mr David Cretney MLC, Chair, the Hon Steve Rodan SHK and Mr Geoffrey Boot MHK, is one of three Standing Committees of Tynwald Court established in October 2011 with a wide scrutiny remit.
