Pub loss could hit Pulrose community hard

by isleofman.com 22nd June 2016

Decision made due to 'switching customer trends'

A Douglas councillor fears the Pulrose community could be badly affected when it loses a local pub.

Heron and Brearley announced yesterday it's closing the Pinewood on July 6th due to 'switching customer trends'.

Claire Wells represents Hills Ward.

She says the pub is a popular meeting point in the area.

Manx Radio has tried to contact Heron and Brearley but have so far received no comment.
