GGIOM Looking for new Adult Volunteers

by isleofman.com 13th July 2016
Girlguiding Isle of Man is currently looking for adult leaders to run units and assist running others throughout the island.

We are especially struggling in Douglas on a Thursday evening and in Ramsey on a Tuesday evening.

We would like to find someone to take over the unit so that it can continue and it can be either an individual or a team of people, sharing the work. Full support will be given to anybody in terms of training and mentoring, plus being part of a friendly district, there are always others to offer support and lend a hand!

We know that the young girls of the island get a lot out of Girlguiding and we know that leaders get so much out of it too – this includes fun, friends and skills for your CV! There’s lots to gain from being a volunteer.

If anyone is at all interested in getting involved (even if it is in the wider Guiding family) or have any questions please contact Sarah on Sarah.parkhouse@girlguidingnwe.org.uk as we would love to hear from you!
