Former borough engineer elected to Victoria ward

In accordance with the Local Elections Act 1986 and the Local Election Rules 2003, as amended, Ian John Gelling Clague of 8 Laureston Close, Douglas, has been elected to serve as a member of Douglas Borough Council for Victoria ward.

In 2015 Mr Clague retired from the Council after 35 years’ service, latterly as borough engineer. He was appointed MBE in 2000 for his services to music.
