Special Summer Program of Children’s Outdoor Events

by isleofman.com 19th July 2016
Come on let’s explore! With one Wildlife Adventure Pass, your child will have a passport to enter the world of nature throughout the summer. Discover the life in rockpools, enter the twisting maze of labyrinth spiders, soak up the sun with lizards and explore the cool depths of a stream. Find butterflies, mayflies, dragonflies, shrimps, crabs, wildflowers and many, many more fascinating creatures.

Manx Wildlife Trust is keen to engage children with nature and develop a feeling of awe and wonder in this natural world. In the past we have held very successful and popular rock pooling and wildlife events over the schools summer holiday but this year there is a twist! By selling a limited number of tickets we can spend more time with your child explaining things and really get to know them and their interests. This will help children feel more confident to interact with the staff and help to launch them into a voyage of discovery.

If you are a family member of the Trust your ticket will be sent out free to you, but you can buy a ticket at ?10 per child then choose 6 out of 10 activities on offer which you would like to attend. But hurry because there are a limited number of tickets available, check out our website to buy one now www.manxwt.org.uk.

Help give your child a lifelong interest in the natural world....and enjoy some nature along the way for yourself too!

Please note that tickets are not interchangeable and there maybe cancellations for weather conditions. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
