On Thursday 21st July 2016 the Police recovered around ?11,000 worth of Cannabis resin from an address in Douglas. A 36 year old woman was arrested in connection with the seizure and has subsequently been charged with possession with intent to supply of a Class B controlled drug, money laundering and further possession offences. She wwas due to appear at Court on Friday 22nd July 2016.
Detective Sergeant Vinny Lund of The Proactive Team said, “It’s yet another substantial seizure of Cannabis on the Island and with the public’s help we can make further seizures, if you have information or have seen something suspicious please contact us or crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
