The Mayor and Mayoress of Douglas John and Gill Skinner hosted a ‘classical’ afternoon tea in Douglas town hall’s council chamber in aid of the mayoral charity appeal attended by the Lieutenant Governor Sir Richard Gozney and his wife, Lady Diana Gozney.
Entertainment was provided by 4tissimo and a display of jewellery shown by Charles Alexander.
The three charities to benefit from the 2016-2017 mayoral charity appeal are Anthony Nolan Isle of Man; Manx Decaf and Naseem’s Brain Tumour charity.
