by isleofman.com 2nd November 2016
Overnight between, Tuesday 1st November and Wednesday 2nd November 2016, The Coffee Exchange on Athol Street, Douglas has been broken into and a quantity of money has been taken as well as a charity tin that was being used for the Poppy collection.

This tin has not yet been recovered and is obviously very identifiable.

PC David Thommeny asks if any member of the public were in the area overnight and saw anything suspicious or happens to come across a discarded Poppy tin then to please contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
