Health and safety in motorsports, controlling respiratory risks and the effects of a workplace accident are among key themes to be discussed at an annual seminar hosted by the Isle of Man Branch of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
People will also have chance to meet with representatives of the Health and Safety at Work Inspectorate on the island when the event takes place at the Keyll Darree Education and Training Centre, at Nobles Hospital, Douglas, on Wednesday 9 November.
Branch Chair Tony Quayle said: “This free event allows safety practitioners and event organisers to appreciate the benefits of good workplace practices across a broad range of topics.
“The interesting and diverse range of speakers will look at both the benefits of applying best practice and highlight the potential consequences of not doing so.”
