Braddan Commissioners promote road safety for young cyclists

Braddan Commissioners’ Chairman, Andrew Jessopp recently presented young cyclists at Braddan School with a Certificate and rechargeable rear light for their bicycles.

All the children had passed their Cycling Proficiency Test that afternoon and the Commissioners were delighted to be able to reward their efforts.

Andrew Jessopp said “The Authority is keen to encourage cycling on the island and this was the perfect opportunity to help the newly qualified cyclists stay safe on the roads”
