Brothers Dan and Luke Quine win the Hop Tu Naa Treasure Hunt at Milntown

by isleofman.com 11th November 2016

Congratulations to winners Dan and Luke Quine from Glen Vine who have swept the top prize for the Hop tu Naa Treasure Hunt at Mintown this half term.

Dan who is 6 and Luke 4 both attend Marown School. They popped into Milntown for lunch with friends during half term and took a trip round the gardens and did the treasure hunt whilst they were there.

The event ran throughout the October half term and saw over 250 children searching for pictures of Jinny the Witch’s missing cat around the 15 acres of grounds.

Dan and Luke’s winning entry was selected from all the children that participated in the event, their star prize was a voucher for ToyMaster.

Congratulations Dan and Luke and well done to all those who took part.

Rather than close the Milntown Gardens at the end of October the Milntown Trust has taken the decision to keep the gardens open for the foreseeable future to make the most of the good weather we have been having and the stunning colours currently on display in the Milntown Gardens. The Milntown Gardens and Cafe are open 10am – 4.00pm daily excluding Tuesdays.
