Infrastructure confirm cost of Promenade scheme todate

A question raised in yesterday's sitting of Tynwald, by Ramsey member Lawrie Hooper, to the Department of Infrastructure has confirmed that the total spend todate on the Douglas Promenade scheme is over ?3 million pounds.

The exact figure, ?3,017,618.59, is broken down as follows:

- ?1.64m was spent on phase 1 works

- ?248k on site investigations

- ?173k on early contractor involvement in tramway work

- ?70k on planning applications

- ?861k on a range of professional fees including specialist traffic modelling and safety assessments.
