Appeal after motorcylist injured following RTC in Douglas

At approximately 4.45pm on Sunday 20th November 2016 a road traffic collision occurred at the junction of Prospect Hill and Athol Street in Douglas, involving a silver car and a red motorcycle.

The right turn lane heading down Prospect Hill was closed for a couple of hours while Police investigators examined the scene. The motorcycle rider suffered injuries to his leg and is being treated in hospital. The driver of the silver car is uninjured.

Police are asking for any witnesses who may have seen the collision, or assisted at the scene, to come forward and contact PC 286 Greaves of the Roads Policing Unit on 631212.
