Full steam ahead for Santa Trains

by isleofman.com 21st November 2016

Father Christmas will be just a train ride away this December as Isle of Man Railways’ popular Santa Trains make their seasonal return.

Capture the magic of the season by boarding the steam train from Douglas to visit Santa in his special grotto at Santon Station.

Santa’s little helpers, also known as the ‘Elf and Safety’ crew, will be out in force to ensure that everybody has a wonderful time.

Children will receive a good quality gift from Santa and all passengers can enjoy a drink and snack on board the dining car at Santon Station.

Tickets cost ?15, which includes return train travel, seasonal refreshments and a visit to Santa’s grotto.

Trains depart Douglas at 11am, 12 noon and 2pm on 10, 11, 17 and 18 December.

Advance bookings are essential as the Santa Trains are extremely popular and places fill up quickly.

Call the Welcome Centre on 662525 or book online at www.rail.im.
