A member of The Inner Magic Circle, with Gold Star, travelled to the island at the weekend to perform at a cabaret at the Douglas Bay Yacht Club, organised by the Young Magicians of Mann.  Michael Vincent, a three times winner of The Magic Circle's Close -Up Magician of the Year competition, astounded everyone at the sold-out event. 

Also performing in the cabaret were Lexi Watterson from Port St Mary, herself a Member of The Magic Circle, and Juan Corrin from Douglas.  Both developed their magic skills with the Young Magicians of Mann.  The local club for young people is to close at the end of this year.  The young magicians have frequently performed at many charity events since 1987.  Current members, supported by Lexi and Juan, will stage their annual show at the Youth Arts Centre in Kensington Road, Douglas on the afternoon of Sunday 4th December.  Tickets for 'Finale', costing ?7, can be booked by leaving a message on tel. 878328.
