Attorney General’s Chambers to complete relocation

by isleofman.com 16th December 2016

The Attorney General’s Chambers will complete its phased relocation to its new accommodation at Belgravia House on Circular Road in Douglas today (Friday 16 December 2016).

The Prosecution, Crown Officers and Drafting divisions will vacate St Mary’s Court to join their colleagues from the Civil and Support teams who have already made the move. Staff will have limited access to telephones and IT equipment while the relocation takes place.

St Mary’s Court will remain open until 5pm on Friday. With effect from 9am on Monday 19 December, the new reception for the Attorney General’s Chambers will be on the second floor of Belgravia House.

The move from rented accommodation into Government-owned premises continues the Government’s efforts to achieve significant cost savings by streamlining its property portfolio. This approach is also providing a boost to the local economy by releasing space for private sector expansion.
