Local online travel specialists VisitIOM.co.uk has made its first sale of a recently launched All-Inclusive holiday package to the Isle of Man this week. Operated by the Sefton Group, the All-Inclusive holiday deal is designed to boost visitor numbers to the island during quieter months in the year.
Launched in January 2017 at the Best Western Palace Hotel and Casino, the all-inclusive break is available for visitors between January and March, then October to December with exceptions for the Christmas period. Guests can enjoy return travel, 2 or 3 night’s accommodation, three meals a day at the Paragon restaurant with drinks and wine, casino voucher, bingo vouchers and use of the hotel health club.
Chairman for VisitIOM Brian Kelly commented: “This is a revolutionary concept for the Isle of Man and is geared to attract more holiday-makers onto the island during the quieter months. We are thrilled to have taken a number of bookings having only launched a few weeks ago. We feel sure that this concept will prove a popular choice and help towards the Isle of Man government’s goal of 20% growth in tourism by 2020.”
The package is designed to attract the over 50s market and is available for inbound travellers when booking a flight or ferry as part of their holiday package.
Commenting for the Sefton Group, Adrian Brockhouse, Group Operations Director, added: “Our vision was to launch something unique for the island that would be attractive not only to customers looking for convenience but to previous visitors looking for a reason to return. We see it benefitting not only the hotel and the visitor who receives great value-for-money but the wider tourism industry in the longer term.”
