Gig in very unusual space: Manx Choir to perform at Western Swimming Pool, Peel this Saturday

by isleofman.com 15th February 2017
As part of Isle of Architecture, Caarjyn Cooidjagh is to perform a selection of appropriate water-inspired pieces at Peel Swimming Pool this weekend: a true ‘gig in an unusual space’.

The poolside location provides unique acoustics for the unaccompanied singing of traditional and newly-compose Manx songs which this small choir is known for. You certainly don’t need to be a Manx-Gaelic speaker to enjoy its pure sound and to experience the carefully-crafted arrangements of little known gems.

You can find more information about this event and others brought to you by Isle of Architecture at www.facebook.com/isleofarchitecture and buy tickets (?5) for Caarjyn Cooidjagh from https://www.eventbrite.com/e/poolside-performance-from-caarjyn-cooidjagh-tickets-31088270855?aff=es2

Performance starts at 4pm (doors open at 3.30pm)
