It takes place at the Youth Arts Centre in Kensington Road, Douglas, on Monday 27th March.

Fiona Helleur, Head of Youth Arts with the DEC, said: ‘The Programme for Government recognises the benefits to the Island of encouraging creativity.

‘This event gives singers, dancers, musicians, magicians, comedians and other acts a platform for their talents before a friendly panel of judges and a supportive audience.

‘Participants who gain a taste for performing can go on to join one of our many projects and workshops and maintain their involvement in the arts.

‘Youth Got Talent has been held for 20 years and is one of the highlights of our calendar at the Youth Arts Centre.’

There are categories for eight to 11-year-olds, 11s-to 14s and 14s and over.
