The Public Accounts Committee are issuing an open invitation to the public, individuals or organisations to submit ideas for questions to be asked at the post-budget oral evidence session to be held on Monday 6th March 2017.

2.30pm                Hon Alfred Cannan, Treasury Minister
Mrs Shelia Lowe, Chief Financial Officer, Treasury

The session will be held in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas. The evidence will be taken in public. Members of the public are welcome to attend, and the proceedings will also be streamed live via the Tynwald website.

The Chairman of the Committee, The Hon Juan Watterson SHK, commented, "This post-budget oral evidence session with the Treasury Minister and Chief Financial Officer is a new idea and we would like to know what questions the public would like to have answers to. We can’t guarantee to ask all questions as received, it depends on how many submissions we have, but we are keen to understand what topics are of most interest."

Submissions should be sent to the Clerk of the Committee by 12.00 noon on 1st March 2017.
