A new shop for Hospice in Peel

by isleofman.com 28th February 2017
Hospice Shops are delighted to announce their opening of their new shop in Peel.

The shops have a long history in Peel. The first store opened in Market Street approximately 25 years ago with a move to Douglas Street a couple of years later. They then popped around the corner to Michael Street 15 years ago finally moving to a fabulous corner plot at the end of Michael Street this week.

Hospice shops are an integral part of raising funds for Hospice Isle of Man’s care provision raising around ?400,000 each year. A dress sold in one of the 7 shops for ?20 equates to one hour’s care in the In-patient Unit at Hospice.

Chief Executive of Hospice, Anne Mills thanked shops manager, Judith Leslie, Kath Foley and the team for transforming the new shop into a beautiful bespoke shop selling a wide range of furniture and clothing. They store will be open Monday to Saturday 10am-4pm each day. As stock is replenished on a daily basis regular visits are recommended. To contact Hospice Shop ring 615055 or visit www.hospice.org.im.

Hospice shops also posts photographs of the unique items selling in each of their shops on a daily basis so checking their website frequently is a good idea. http://www.hospice.org.im/shops-warehouse/
