by isleofman.com 6th March 2017

Local fantastic hockey player Will Greenbank is pictured handing over a cheque for ?300 to Steven Downward for Rebecca House. Will is a member of Bacchas Hockey Club and is aware of their endeavours and support of the local children’s hospice.

Will Greenbank, 16, attends Repton School in Derby where he is a year 12 student. He is from Maughold on the Isle of Man.

At school the students belong to a House and each House holds a charity evening with entertainment and a raffle. They also have a sale at work day where each House can have 3 stalls. Will’s House had a burger stall, leg wax and book stall which was open to the public. The school raised ?17,000 in total and Will asked could some of the money come to Rebecca House.

Will is a ferocious player and has had trials for England for hockey.  Steven thanked Will for thinking of Rebecca House and wished him all the best with his trials in the future.
