David Sutton wins the Spring Treasure Hunt at Milntown

5 year old David Sutton from Douglas was the proud winner of this year’s Spring Treasure Hunt at Milntown, The event, which ran throughout the half term holidays and covered the 15 acres of the Milntown Estate saw many families braving the weather to come out and explore the historic grounds.

David attends Scoill Vallajeelt and lives in Douglas but is a regular visitor to Milntown with his brother and parents.

David’s winning entry was selected from all the children that participated in the event, his star prize was a gift voucher for ToyMaster.

Congratulations to David and well done to all those who took part. Here is David along side one of the many pieces of sculpture in the Milntown gardens.
 
The Milntown Spring Treasure Hunt is one of an extensive range of events hosted by Milntown throughout the year. The next treasure hunt to take place at Milntown will run during the Easter holidays. The Manx Wildlife Trust will also be visiting Milntown during the Easter holiday on the 20th April when they will be “Putting a Spring into your Step” and looking at the science behind spring.
