Walking for Hospice

by isleofman.com 10th March 2017

Pictured are Ernie Martin and Chief Executive of Hospice Isle of Man, Anne Mills.

Sadly Ernie’s brother, Charlie Martin died recently at Hospice so during Lent Ernie thought he would walk the coastal path, around 90 miles, to raise funds for the local charity. He will walk around 7 miles every time he goes out. Ernie can be sponsored for this event by contacting the Hospice fundraising team on 647433 or by visiting www.hospice.org.im and following the donate links.

Anne added: ‘We are so pleased and proud of Ernie – I’m sure he wouldn’t mind me saying he is a gentleman of a certain age so we are grateful he is walking the walk for our charity.” “I would like to thank him for his efforts for Hospice.”
