Popular publication A Brief History of the Isle of Man has been revised and re-issued - and it's bigger and better.
Much more than a reprint, the revised edition includes about 70% new text and 80% new photographs, revealing even more of the Isle of Man's history. As author Sara Goodwins commented: 'While covering the important points, in a book this size it's impossible to be comprehensive. I just made a different selection in the history I wrote about this time round!'
But one thing hasn't changed. The book still celebrates the unique history and character of the Manx and their island.
