The Isle of Man branch of the Alzheimer’s Society has been chosen as the 2017 Charity of the Year by staff at leading corporate service provider SMP Partners.

The charity provides support to anyone affected by any form of dementia from its Isle of Man office.

‘I’m so proud of the charitable work that the team at SMP Partners gets involved with every year and I’m sure the money we raise will be make a real difference to the work of the Alzheimer’s Society here in the Island.’

Grahame Bell from the Alzheimer’s Society in the Isle of Man added: ‘We are delighted that SMP Partners has chosen our cause as the Charity of the Year for 2017. The funds they raise will give a real boost to the charity and will enable us to help so many more people in our community. In the Island we provide a range of activities to improve life for people with dementia, carers and families, including companionship, support and events to stimulate memories.’
