Chief Minister sends condolences, on behalf of the Island, to the UK Prime Minister

A letter has been sent by the Isle of Man's Chief Minister, Howard Quayle to Theresa May, the UK Prime Minister following Wednesday's terrorist attack in London.

In the letter Mr Quayle said: "I am deeply shocked and extremely saddened by yesterday's attack on Westminster.

"Please accept my personal condolences, and the deepest sympathy of the Isle of Man people, on the tragic losss of life and terrible injuries faced by so many.  We stand with you, and all the people of the United Kingdom, in solidarity and our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and all those who have been touched by this atrocious act.

"I would like to offer the Isle of Man's full support, and any assistance that may be needed by the United Kingdom, at this time."
