Council appoints 3FM media partner for three events

by isleofman.com 27th March 2017

3FM has been appointed media partner to Douglas Borough Council for three public events.

The broadcaster will provide promotional services for Noble’s Park Fun Day on Saturday August 5, the fireworks display on Friday November 3 and the Christmas lights switch-on ceremony on Thursday November 23.

Regeneration and community committee chairman Stephen Pitts said: ‘These three events are among the highest-profile staged by the council. 3FM has consistently demonstrated its ability to reach out island-wide to the community to promote and bring added value to such occasions, so we are pleased to have appointed them as our media partner.’

3FM’s managing director Ron Berry said: ‘We’re delighted to be continuing our association with the council by becoming media partner for these three fantastic crowd-pleasing events. Just like the council, 3FM really knows how to put on a show, so between us we’ll make sure that the Fun Day, fireworks display and the Christmas lights ceremony will be three great, not-to-be-missed events.’

Pitches are now available to reserve for Noble’s Park Fun Day on Saturday August 5. To apply visit the Public Notices section at douglas.im.
