Sponsor of Isle of Man Sport’s Coach of the Year award Crowe Clark Whitehill has applauded the island’s sporting talent.

Presenting Isle of Man women’s hockey team coach Raj Nandha with the award, the accounting firm’s director Phaedra Bird congratulated Mr Nandha on his success in encouraging his players to be the best they can and praised the island’s top athletes for their sporting achievements at home and abroad.

She continued: ‘As an accountancy practice which places great emphasis on providing our people with opportunities to further their professional development and acquire the skills to advance their careers and succeed, we understand the vital role training plays. We were therefore delighted that Raj’s coaching of the Isle of Man women’s hockey team to help them to achieve their sporting potential has been recognised by Isle of Man Sport with this award which Crowe Clark Whitehill has been proud to sponsor. We wish Raj and the team every success in the future.’
