Appeal after theft of fuel from truck

by isleofman.com 7th April 2017

Police are investigating the theft of fuel from a truck which was situated in a car park just off Old Castletown Road, near to the entrance of White Hoe Industrial car park.

Someone has forced the fuel sender cap off the truck and siphoned fuel from the main tank. It is likely that this may have taken them some time to get the fuel out and it would have been clearly in view off the main road. It is believed the theft occurred sometime between 1600hrs on the 5th April 2017 and 0800hrs on the 6th April 2017.

Anyone with any information in relation to this matter is urged to contact Constable Lewis Cassidy at Police Headquarters on 631212 or via Lewis.Cassidy@gov.im  Alternatively, people can give their information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
