HSBC CI and IoM raises ?1,600 for Cancer Research UK in 'Beat Cancer Boat Race'

by isleofman.com 7th April 2017

HSBC staff in the Isle of Man worked up a sweat recently (31st March) by holding a ‘Beat Cancer Boat Race’  in aid of Cancer Research UK, competing in real time against staff in its Jersey and Guernsey branches.

The races, which coincided with the Oxford v Cambridge boat race that weekend, saw the teams across all three islands rowing more than 300km between them, with the Isle of Man team rowing 62.4km of that, and raised a combined total of just over ?1,600 for the charity.”
