Diana Princess of Wales Care at Home Trust is asking local and business communities to ‘wear something purple’ on Friday 7 July 2017.
The Trust helps to fund and provide ‘Hospice At Home’ specialist palliative care on the Isle of Man, providing respite and end-of-life care for all with life-limiting medical conditions in their own home where that is the patient’s preference.
Ron Spencer, Trust Chairman, said: “We are encouraging everyone on the Island to take part on Friday 7th July 2017. We’re hoping pre-schools might dress up and primary and secondary schools might dress down and pay ?1. We would also like to invite the business community to participate with a ?1 minimum donation per staff member to support our cause as we continue to strive to raise over ?50,000 annually.
“Could your company take part and help us to provide high quality nursing support and care at home throughout the Island? Do let us know and share photographs of the day and we’ll gratefully acknowledge your support.”
