Mental health: further call for evidence

On 3rd February 2017 the Social Affairs Policy Review Committee issued a public call for evidence on the issue of mental health with a deadline of 23rd February 2017.

The Committee is interested in the scale and severity of mental ill health in the Island, the health and care resources in place to respond and the impact on other public services including the police.

The Committee now invites further written submissions from anyone who would like to comment on these matters with an extended deadline for submissions of 12 noon on Thursday 27th April. Email is preferred but hard copy is equally acceptable. Please note that Committees may publish evidence.

The members of the Social Affairs Policy Review Committee appointed by Tynwald are Mr David Cretney MLC (chair), Mr David Ashford MHK and Mr Martyn Perkins MHK.
