Autism Initiatives have successfully been awarded Bronze in the Tiered Award Scheme. The Tiered Award Scheme is a Crossroads initiative promoting equal access and disability awareness in our community.
Paul Sugden, Autism Initiatives Equality Champion said: “Shen Valley is the fourth of our services within Autism Initiatives IOM to complete the Tiered Award Process, which has been great for developing further awareness of disability smart thinking within our organisation, and has been a platform to make reasonable adjustments to provide continuous improvement within our services for all who access them, whilst promoting community access and involvement for our service users.”
The Tiered Award Scheme encourages businesses and organisations to self-assess against set criteria identifying adjustments which can be made to make the provision of goods and services more accessible to all.
