OEC Provides New Media Facilities

Official Office Equipment Partner for Southern 100 Racing, OEC have increased their commitment to the organisers, providing them with new computer equipment.

The specialist local company, based on the Balthane Industrial Estate, Ballasalla have provided a new laptop computer for the Press Officer.

Managing Director, Martin Stratford-Parson said: ‘Office Equipment Services are pleased to help the Southern 100 by supplying them with a new laptop computer for their Press & Media Officer and we wish the club and its hard working committee a safe and fantastic years racing on the Billown Course.’

Press Officer Phil Edge welcomed the support from Office Equipment Centre saying: ‘The club and myself are indebted to Martin for providing a top of the range laptop for use on the media side of the organisation.

‘The present laptop is now 10 years old and despite having had a number of updates is past its best and due for retirement, the new laptop will ensure that the high standard of media coverage we have built up over the years will continue, specially during the three road race meetings, when results and other information is required immediately!’
