by isleofman.com 27th April 2017

Top musical theatre group Collabro are to make a welcome return to the island, performing on Saturday October 14 at the Villa Marina in aid of Junior Achievement Isle of Man.

Winners of Britain’s Got Talent series eight the boys - Michael Auger, Jamie Lambert, Matthew Pagan and Thomas Redgrave – made their first appearance on the Villa Marina stage in 2016. Since then the boys have toured the US while their current album Home is riding high in the UK Top 10.

Junior Achievement’s communications and events coordinator Alex Day said: ‘It was a fantastic evening of musical theatre and we’ve had loads of requests to bring them back. I’m delighted they’ve found time in their touring schedule to return for this show, which Smart HR Solutions Limited (‘SmartHR’) has kindly agreed to support.’

She continued: ‘Collabro really know how to put on a show and have built up a loyal following among the “Collaborators” as their fans are known. They’re tremendously talented singers with that special gift of connecting with their audience in a way that creates a brilliant atmosphere and an evening to remember.’

Gail Yeowell, owner and managing director of Smart HR Solutions Limited (‘SmartHR’), sponsor of the event, said: ‘I’m absolutely delighted that SmartHR is sponsoring the Collabro concert.  SmartHR is a people business that supports clients with their people management needs, and sponsoring this event to help raise funds for Junior Achievement - an amazing charity that provides a wide range of programmes to over 5,500 young people in the island - is a pleasure.  It will be a fantastic evening and I hope that the public support this great cause.’

Collabro said: ‘We are always thrilled to return to the Isle of Man. It’s a welcoming island with such warm audiences; we’re excited to perform our new music for you.’
