The Flower Studio has launched a brand new collection of floral displays to help raise money for Crossroads Care Superhero Campaign, which sings the praises of all superheroes who give up a lot of their time to care for those diagnosed with an illness or disability.
Heidi Baker, owner of the Flower Studio explained: “We wanted to do more than just donate a raffle prize and were really inspired by the ‘Carers Wear Capes’ tagline that the charity are using. Giving flowers for any occasion will make someone smile, so there is even more meaning to a gift if they know some of the money spent has gone to a great cause. We met with Karen from Crossroads to put some ideas together for the collection and then one of my florists, Ali, suggested adapting one of our bestselling ‘Blooming Cantastic’ designs. The bright colours associated with Superheroes fit in perfectly with seasonal summer blooms and each design comes with a handmade felt badge inspired by the Pop Art comic strips.”
Once the ideas were brought to life, Crossroads arranged for one of their Superheroes Rachel to come and model the designs and Richard from Jewell Photography kindly gave his time to make sure we had some great action shots!
15% of the sales from The Superhero Collection will be donated to Crossroads Care and will be available to order through the Flower Studio website until 30th September 2017 Or you can call into their studio at Tynwald Mills.
